Are the direct tv boxes mine?

We had direct tv. but moved and we didnt pay a past due account that is in collections. Are the boxes still ours to sell regardless?

Unreturned Equipment Fee

“You agree to return leased equipment to DIRECTV upon disconnecting you service. If you do not return the equipment, DIRECTV may charge fees from $55 to $470 per receiver.”

So you really need to find out if they’re trying to charge you for unreturned equipment first.  Then if they are… you will probably be better off sending it back to them because there is no way you will be able to sell it for the same price they will be asking for it.
