  1. Yes they do - but bring a 'travel plug' as some are only European standard (of course the UK is different to everyone else!)

  2. no and yes, the standard french are different, but most places have European electrics, they are only two types, just match the colour code they are two different colours and it is clearly marked

Click onto this site (I know its long) but it was the only picture I could get for you.

This is what we bought for our holiday in the caravan in France. We just came back last week. (Fab by the way)

The washroom,s and facilities at the caravan park all used the 2 pin shaver adapters for everything. Also some sites only have 6 amp power so be careful when using your electrics and not to put on a tv and a kettle at the same time as it blows the fuse.We were lucky where we were and had the full voltage and could run our sky dish and microwave. We went to Seracourt-le-Grande, just outside of Saint Quentin, 118 miles on a straight road from Calais. (2 and a half hours) pulling a caravan. Great if you want to fish, as there are 3 lakes on the site and free fishing.Immaculate site and lovely and quiet.

    Hope this helps you.
