Are the electric outlets in Mexico the same kind as in the US?

THERE TECH. THE SAME. IF IT'S 2 THEN YOU HAVE NO PROBLEMA.

      IF IT'S 3,  YOU'RE GOING TO NEED A ADAPTER AND HONESTLLY,,,,  THE ADAPTER COST LIKE 49 CENTS IN SOME PLACES. VERY CHEAP.

        GO AND HAVE LOTS OF FUN AND BE SAFE.

In spite of what the other answerer thinks, outlets are different in many countries.  But in Mexico, they are the same as in the U.S.
