  1. Everything comes out of exploding stars. Your iPod, Giraffes, Anne Coulter, a cup of tea, New Labour, Patagonia, the sea spray in your face at a stormy day at the coast, a book of poetry that makes you wonder at existence, just EVERYTHING!

  2. Elements above iron on the periodic table can only be created in supernovas.  Elements of iron and below can be made in a non supernova star as part of it's fusion process.

  3. When the universe was in its birth, if you follow the big bang theory, the universe was going through 'ripples' where massive heats and energy translations were about. The highest heat, about a fraction of a second after the big bang created hydrogen, when this cooled, helium was produced, and so on down the periodic table.

All matter and elements come from this, the universe is a closed system. So everything that was in it at the beginning will be there now. So you were once part of the biggest display of awesome fireworks in the history of the universe.

    Aint Physics a hoot :)

  4. Everything comes from inside a star except hydrogen and that's what stars are made of.All the heavier elements in the universe were made due to billions upon billions of exploding and dying stars over billions of years and its still going on today
