Are the escalades old news?

The escalades are hot, but do you think the escalades are played out? would a nice GMC denali be more fresh?

no.  70g's for an SUV.  a gas guzzling peice of c**p SUV?  go green my friend. thats "fresh"

well they are still $50,000 + and get poor mog but it's your money.

I'd rather have 2 $25,000 cars than Cadillac Truck.

Well, neither of then get MPG worth mentioning. But if fuel economy isn't an issue for you and you can afford either one then I'd go for an Escalade. It's a Cadillac! By default GM is going to put more effort in putting out a quality Caddy over a GMC branded vehicle, even though their underpinnings are almost identical.

If given a choice....go for the Cadillac!

Prepare to take a huge dive on resale value if you purchase either.

Just my opinion, but both are overbaked versions of the Tahoe/Yukon, and do not have enough added to justify the huge uptick in price.

Be surprised if they are still on the market in a year, especially if GM keeps closing plants.
