Are the final fantasy movies (advent children etc....) related to any of the games?

please help i realy want to see them but i don't if i have to play 1 of the games or not

Advent Children is a sequel to Final Fantasy 7, and Last Order is a remake of the events showed in flashback in FF7 from 5 years before the actual game story. The Spirits Within is not related to any FF game, but does a great job of incorporating the main themes of Fainl Fantasy as a whole.

I'm pretty sure advent children sums up the game pretty well, so playing the game is not really necessary, but the movie makes many connections with the game.

As for other FF movies (such as The spirits within) I'm not sure if its related to any game.

whaat?first of all there is only 2 FF movies which is Final Fantasy Spirits within and Final Fantasy 7 Advent children. Advent children follow up on Final Fantasy 7 for Playstation 1 year or 2 after the games story. YOu can just buy it on DVD if that is what you are asking. IF you got a ps3 they are REMAKING FF7 because it was sooo good to make a movie out of it they gonna make it EXACTLY the same as the PS one but of course better graphics. There is also FF Crisis Core for PSP which is the prequel(before) to FF7. You get to play as Zach the main character of the Crisis Core and cloud is just a regular char not important until the end of the game.

advent child was super action packed and cool but some parts get boring and yes it does relate to some of the games if i were you i would totally buy final fantasy xii-12 very fun to lvl up and stuff and also cool boss fights.

Advent children is from final fantasy VII so it has cloud tifa barrot and more ppl!!! i reccomend u watch its an awesum movie!!!! o its realated to Final Fantasy Vii like i said = )))))) u dont hav 2 play final fantasy Vii to undrstand besides the game is fr ps not ps2 but if u wanna undrstand get Final Fantasy VII Crisis core fr PSP itll tell u evry thing u need 2 kno either that or go 2 wikipedia.com and research Final Fantasy VII
