  4. I hope the Yankees aren't completely stupid and once and for all get rid of Jason Giambi's bat. As for the others, I'm pretty sure Manny wants to remain a Dodger, and that the Yankees will keep Ramirez.

Assuming Jason Bay doesn't fall apart and Harden doesn't get injured again, their respective teams will keep them.

Pudge will probably stay unless the minor leagues produce a star because chances are Posada's tenure behind the dish is done after shoulder surgery.

Sabathia has expressed his will to become a free agent and command a demanding contract.

And as for Nady and Griffey, it's really a club decision.

Also, you did not mention Mark Teixera, who is a Boras client (Boras likes the Angels in particular), who could potentially become a free agent.

As Tim Rosenthal mentioned yesterday during the Yankees-Angels game, the Yankees could potentially make a serious bid at both Sabathia and Teixera, which would make an interesting offseason to say the least.

  5. i say griffey goes to another team

    manny goes to another team

    nady stays

    bay stays

    harden stays

    sabathia stays

    and pudge will stay

  6. Griffey: Probably not.

Ramirez: Yes. The Dodgers are a big market team and can pay him what he wants.

Nady: Yes, especially if the Yankees let Abreu walk or trade Melky Cabrera.

Jason Bay: Yes. He's Manny's replacement and the Sox have tried to get younger.

    Harden: Yes.

Sabathia: Maybe. If the Brewers show they're committed to winning, he stays. I know the Yankees will make a big push for him.

Pudge: No. Jorge Posada will likely come back healthy for '09 and the job is his. Pudge will get a job elsewhere.

  7. Manny's a free agent at the end of this year, who knows where he'll be.

Jason Bay's contract expires at the end of next season, so assuming no trades are made, he may still be with the BoSox.
