Question:

Are the glaciers refreezing?

I have recently heard a few reports that a substantial portion of the ice in that was melting from global warming refroze last year, but I have been able to find very little information on this. Most reports I'm reading say that the ice was still melting. I would like some sources giving good information on way or the other. Please do not respond with you opinion unless you have sources to back it up, and please be sure your sources are current. thank you

  1. Refreezing? h**l I thought they were like more than 50% gone! I hope they're refreezing.

I gave up on following most of this when I realized that we're pretty much screwed and won't do anything about it either way  ._.

  2. One year of glacier mass increased or decreased isn't what we're looking at here.  It is a trend of what is happening, over a long period of time.

  3. Like this:

and I always like to post this article from "Nobel Prize" winner John Christy, of Earth System Science Center at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a participant in the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change------ and SKEPTIC

  4. The glaciers can't refreeze once the water melts because it flows to the sea.  But both North and South Polar icecaps are freezing and growing, at record rates.

  5. Good news doesn't sell.
