well technically the Olympic trials were over several months ago (the trials are when people qualify to compete in the Olympics)

No, the team events and all around events are over for this summer. Though this year the other half of the apparatus competitions still remain where Nastia Liukin will compete for the last time in these olympics on the uneven bars. Tomorrow night is uneven bars and beam for women and vault and rings for men. Last night was womens floor and vault and men's floor and pommel horse. Hope I helped!

By the way, the olympic trials are where the athletes try out for the olympics.
