Question:

Are the handlebars on dirtbikes universal or are certain brands made for certain bikes?

i bent up the hendlebars on my ttr230 and i need to buy a new set. does anyone have any suggestions or answers to get me off to a good start in getting a new set of handlebars? by the way i dont want to spent too much money on handlebars. prolly like less then 100 dollars.

  1. You have 7/8's bars on your bike, so anything in 7/8's will work.  There are several bends in that size to choose from (High Cr, Low CR, YFZ, etc.), so you will need to find out what style you like.  There is also another size available, called the "fatty," which is 1 and 1/8th.  These measurements are commonly taken at the clamps. The fatty bars do neck down to 7/8 at the grips, so that common grips and levers can be used.  You should be able to find many brands that will fit your bike for less than $100.  Hope this helps.
