  1. Well I wouldn't call all of them broken down but no they are not top notch race horses. They are nowhere close to the same competition level as horses who run at Arlington Park or Churchhill Downs.  The horses that run at the Woodlands run for way less than horses that run at Arlington Park and the bigger tracks.  Yes most of the horses that run at the Woodlands are Kansas breds with maybe so Missouri breds and Oklahoma breds running there as well.

  2. I'd say they are in between.  There are certainly cheaper tracks than the Woodlands, but it isn't Churchill Downs on the first weekend in May either.  It seems to be a pretty decent track in my limited experience of playing it on simulcast.

  3. broke down cant win anywhere else horses

  4. The horses that race at Woodlands are horses that do not have the big pedigee name that the major race track circuits do. They are still quality horses. and I would guess most of them are MO or KS bred horses.  You can look at the past performances and see which horses have had long race careers and which ones have only been racing a short time.

The 2008 fall meet is from September 20-Novemer 2.

The track runs both throughbreds and quarter horse races.

The trainers and jockeys still put in the long hours it takes to prepare a horse for a race. And the track, although not open for a long season, does its best to keep both, jockey and horse safe.

Maybe you should check it out.  You might  find that you'll have great times picking your favorite horses to make it to the winners circle.
