Are the invisalign or invisalign generic alternatives (if there are any) more expensive than braces?

If so, how much more expensive? I know insurance plays a big role as to how much i have to pay, but just in general, are they more expensive? and if so, by how much? personal experience stories would be helpful. Also, are they just as effective? Any/All info appericiated.Will choose best answer, won't go into voting.

Invisalign is the same price as braces.  Of course that may differ depending on which orthodontist you go to.  Some may charge more than others for either service, there is no set fee.  Invisalign cannot do as good a job as regular braces can because invisalign can't accomplish as broad a range of movements
