The jerseys that the nfl players wear on gameday, are the numbers/logos stitched or are they just silk screen prints?

I'm pretty sure they are stitched, my buddy right beside me disagrees.

I told him authentic jerseys that people buy that the pros wear = stitched

replica = hot pasted numbers

I do agree with him though, if they are stitched, it's very hard to notice.

  1. Some teams aren't stitched. I guess it's a budget thing??

  2. they are stitched. i collect football cards and you can get jersey cards that actually have the stiches in them so i am 100% sure it is stiched.

  3. I think most, if not all, are stitched nowadays. But it hasn't always been like that. I remember back in the 80's some of them weren't, like the old Eagles jerseys weren't. You can find some online that say authentic throwback jersey, but if you're looking for an authentic Eagles jersey from the 80's and they're stitched in it's not authentic.
