Are the lacoste shirts they sell on ebay actually real?

They seem too good to be true. Are they knock-offs?

Roughly 104% of the Lacoste polo shirts listed on eBay are fakes.  The other styles may or may not be fake.

I have been to China many times and have come across the Lacoste and Polo shirts. They are identical in every way to the real thing. In volume out of China, they can be purchased for about $3 each or less. Everything down to the packaging, labels and buttons are the same. There is virtually no way to tell the difference.

Therefore..... I would assume that if they are being sold for a ridiculously low price, then they are fake for sure.

I would say that maybe some of them are real and are being closed out but seriously doubt than anymore than 5% are the real deal.

So, what do you do about it?  If there is no way to tell them from the real thing, what are your options if you want a real one? I say either take the risk and be assured it will most likely be fake and save the money or go to your local department store and buy the real deal.

If the price seems too good,  its probably a fake.
