Question:

Are the life cycles of Gymnosperms and Bryophytes the same?

I understand that they have different structures, in gymosperms sporophyte is dominate, and in bryophytes the gametophyte is dominant.

I want to know if they have the same steps when reproducing, or if there are major differences.

for Bryophytes i have:

spores-mitosis-gametophyte-mitosis-gam... -mitosis-embryo-mitosis-sporophyte-and back to spores
