Are the litter shelves (for lack of the real name) on a UH-60 Black Hawk movable? Picture inside.

Are the shelf-like things movable? Can you pull them out like a drawer?

It looks awfully cramped in there.

  1. the shelf like things are called litter pans, and yes they are movable, they don't slide in and out they slide up and down to change configurations on the blackhawk.  with the carousel in the blackhawk can handle anywhere from 2-6 litter patients.  Yes it is very cramped in there but it's still possible to treat patients effectively.  the carousel also spins 90 degrees to what's called the flight position so you have a little more access to your patients if you have a full load
