'Almost two-thirds of people in Britain fear race relations are so poor tensions are likely to spill over into violence, a BBC poll has suggested.

Of the 1,000 people asked, 60% said the UK had too many immigrants and half wanted foreigners encouraged to leave.'

  1. Firstly I reject the notion of British - anyone granted a passport can be 'British'. Personally I am indigenous English, and yes I have read time and time again about the historic invasions of England and the mix of nationalities, etc. The Government are not listening to the indigenous population and our frustrations over uncontrolled immigration and the strain on our over stretched infrastructure. Indeed they are still trying to resurrect the failed social experiment multi-culturalism in the guise of promoting Britishness. Racial tension has already spilled over into violence, remember the race riots in Bradford and Bolton? I'm certain there's more violence to come until someone in Government actually recognises our concerns are valid and proposes methods of addressing those concerns.

  2. Quite possibly.

  3. I think that the problem is that British people feel that things are just so UNFAIR.

Everyone here is struggling for money, struggling to get on the housing ladder, struggling to get a decent job, struggling to see an NHS doctor or dentist, struggling under the demands of increased taxation but a seemingly worse standard of living and they see immigrants and foreigners getting all of these things.

British people are also sick to death of being told what to do and how to behave in their own country in terms of political correctness. They are beginning to feel isolated and alienated in their own land and they feel that the Labour government doesn't give a toss about them.

On the whole I think we are a pretty tolerant nation - look how muh foreigners have been accepted and integrated in the past fifty years - but we are now so tired of being screwed over by a government that doesn't serve our interests that we are saying enough is enough - and that means no more immigration!

  4. I regularly socialise in multicultural areas and I see very few of these tensions.

  5. How do we encourage them to leave?  We as a nation are a laughing stock in Europe for falling for their open door bullsh*t.  Why didn't the rest of Europe go down the same line if it is such a good thing as New Labour would have you believe?

  6. No, they are completely wrong and should stop reading the hate-mongering Daily Mail immediately.

  7. Yes I think that they are. You only have to remember the Brixton and Toxteth riots to see what racial tension can do. It's a sad fact of life that a large percentage of people are racist deep down. More people seem to be thinking this way when they see immigrants jumping housing queues and getting benefits without having paid anything in. I don't blame the immigrants, but do blame the idiotic Government that we have. I know many Muslim people and even they are scared of what will happen.

  8. Yes. God, I'm not racist but with the current housing crisis and loss in jobs, we don't need a whole community moving in. Nothing against any race of people, but we just don't have enough space and we're not adapted for their way of living, or their religion. I'd be happy if we could cope, but we can't.

  9. Haha, hopefully. British people always look down on us Americans for being somewhat racist and having slavery in our country longer, now that they actually have minorities in their country with a different culture they will understand what the big deal is about. Maybe they want to come to Britain because you ****** up their homeland in the first place? It is not exactly like any European nation has ever done anywhere near as much good as the evil when they get to a new country.

  10. Enoch Powell spoke too soon. He may not be wrong, just ahead of time.

  11. There is one easy question you can ask yourself depending where you live.

For generations my family have been born and bred in England and we are proud of that fact, and for me I an ENGLISH first, and British second...

    WHAT ARE YOU???

If you say you are British first, then you may be part of the problem.

Because to be English you don't necessarily have to be White, it may help but its not just about the colour of your skin.

Because if you feel that you belong, then your hole demeanor fits in to what it means to be English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish .

Its all about your Attitudes, Attitudes, Attitudes and how you see yourself.

  12. Yes it will go the same way as Yugoslavia did, the government want caos, they do not want order so they lower the borders, invite many people of different cultures and race  to pay the pension tax of a growing number of elderly about  to retire.  But the main reason is to divide and conker, to create racial and cultural tensions.  All it will need to light the spark to a genocide  war,r will be one lunatic.

  13. No we're not. The polls might be correct for the small sample but it is up to us to educate people.

  14. No , until the people support the political party with a mandate to revoke all the privileges which immigrants enjoy over and above those of British citizens, nothing will change/.

  15. Yes!Unfortunately;Yes!

  16. It's a lot of nonsense.  We were all immigrants once upon a time.

It's all a big distraction away from the real issues of not enough fulltime jobs, not enough permanent jobs, not enough affordable housing, not enough affordable dentistry, not enough affordable energy and too much tax aimed at those who can least afford it, too much local tax, too much water tax, too much tv licence tax, expensive insurance and food.

Immigration should be legal for those who wish to be British citizens first and abide by British laws.

Immigrants should be rewarded for being law abiding citizens, as should the rest of the British population who are law abiding.

Others who choose to be here to be obstructive, difficult or break the law should be send back to their country of origin or of choice as an alternative to a prison sentence if found guilty of an offence against this country. Unlike those born here who we are stuck with should they break the law.

  17. Y E S, and the same thing could happen in the USA!!!

  18. This is not a new thing. What about the riots in Bristol and Bradford, just to name a couple of incidents.

The problem is caused by the governments of the last 50 years letting all these immigrants in.

Cant blame the immigrants anyone living in their countries would want out.

  19. We need to get out of the EU asap.

  20. No, it's a load of scaremongering.  Just because you're scared about having your purse nicked because the press runs stories 7 days a week about grannies having their purses nicked, it doesn't mean that you are going to have your purse nicked.

  21. There is nothing wrong with immigration when it is a slow controlled trickle but when thousands are allowed in within a short space of time it is bound to create problems for the NHS, Social services, Schools and Housing. If us ordinary people can see that, why can't our idiot government see it. The conclusion I have come to is that they are all looking to the future when they will no longer be in power. Then it will be pay back time from the big companies that employ cheap labour. They will all get high paid jobs. This is nothing new it has been going on for generations however, the Labour government have taken it to a new high.

  22. Violence will likely erupt from racism because the Whites tend to continue discriminating the Blacks and Muslims.

  23. i think immigration has been a labour party scam!! to take our minds away from the EU. and its worked quite well. people see the 'giving away of their own country' to a huge unaccountable"n**i style" super power as the lesser of their social concerns, in particular!! the ugliness and mindless violent hatred of Islam. there is no way that Islam would ever fit in to Britain without a lot of conflict resentment and mistrust. the labour party knew that. i think the whole thing has been a cynical exercise in public control....and the tired old racism card re vitalised to cause social uncertainty.

  24. It's going to happen soon, but at what cost and for how long?

  25. I think we are scared of not belonging in our own country.  It's not us British who are causing racial trouble, it's the immigrants who are coming in their droves.  They ask for asylum because of persecution and if we were the first safe country for them then I certainly would let them stay, but they all cross several safe countries because they want to come to the UK.

We have a free medical health care system. If they are homeless, they have more chances of getting a house than we Brits. What really angers us is that they won't try and integrate with us Britons. They all stay in their own communes and keep their own laws, ways of living and refuse to learn English and expect us to accept it. If we complain, then they immediately bring out either the racial card or the religious card.

I personally couldn't care what colour they are, green with purple stripes for all I care, what religion they have, each to their own. What I do care is people trying to change my way of life and the way of life that we British have loved and lived all these years.  If you want to live in our country then you must abide by our laws and live like us, otherwise go back to your own countries where you can live how you want.  We haven't forced anyone to come and live here and we certainly won't force them to stay.

We could all live peaceably if we didn't feel so scared of saying or doing the wrong thing incase we are accused of being racist.  My son-in-law is an Arab and a Muslim to boot, but he has lived here for 10 years and lives an English way of life.

  26. Yes there will be riots when the time is right, but it's not the british people who will start them, it's our government, alway is and always will be, they need to bring our country to it's knees, so we can be easily govened by the EU, once that happens we no longer have a 'Britain', or an 'England' or even a 'UK', we will only be part of the EU with no Sovereignty.  We will have no votes, an only have the EU Constitution of a dictatorship.
