  1. the gold and silver medals are probably made of mostly silver, and then gold plated.  The bronze medal is probably all bronze.  There may be an inlay of some kind of stone, maybe pearl or marble, on the gold and or silver medal.  :)

  2. Gold medal is plated with at least 6gms of gold (92%)

Silver and bronze are pure throughout, and all are inlaid with jade..

  3. All the medals are made up of 75% silver and then the rest is 25% gold, 100% silver, 25% bronze. So even if you came in third place, at least you are 75% second place winner.

  4. actually none of them are 100% gold silver or bronze. the gold medal is only 6% gold and the rest is made of other metal components. is that not fascinating?

    gold ones are too expensive

  5. i think they are godiva chocolates in a gold wrapper :)

  6. the gold and silver medals must each be made of at least 92.5 percent pure silver and the gold medal must be gilded with at least six grams of gold

  7. They are steel that is painted different colours.
