Are the methods used to extend human life detrimental to the human race?

Sort of like overpopulation of wolves until their habitat cannot provide for them. If so.................. whose first at some Russian roulette? C'mon do it for the human race!

this time the the food resources for human are going to be limited and this   is because requirement is increasing day by day but  food production with not the same speed.

so if human life is extended by any means this will cause a great rise of human population ( when death rate reduces the birth rate) which will cause many detrimental effects. such as

- lack of nutrition so distrubed health.

- it will cause a overall distrubance in the ecosyatem etc

Yes, I think we're actually already way beyond the point of sustainability, and still growing.

The ultimate culmination will be war.  Not enough resources to go around, so we fight over what there is.  When enough people are killed, we'll be in at a sustainable level again.

Sucks eh?  We need to work on population control and sustainable development now before nature does it for us.

Absolutely.  If we were to apply ecological principles to human population, we would put limits on the number of people who could live in places like Arizona, for example.  Way more people live in that region than can be sustained by their resources.  This is why they have to establish ridiculous systems for moving water.

I don't think there are more people on earth just yet than can be handled (although I expect we are rapidly approaching it), but the distribution of the population is skewed with large populations in areas that cannot support them.  This leads to famine and disease and war over resources.

It makes me so angry when I see people with litters of kids.  I don't know why we glamorize these idiots who go to IVF clinics and end up with triplets, quadruplets, sextuplets . . . They shouldn't be doted on with gifts, they should be shamed for being so selfish.  If you can't get pregnant naturally, that's unfortunate.  But, there are plenty of children in need of homes.  Give your love to them.
