Are the mock exams easier then the real GCSE's?

Or are they old GCSE exams?

because i seem to have done better in most of my mock exams? a tad annoying :/

    i did better in my real ones though


  2. They tend to make the mock exams harder than the actual GCSE exams so it will make you work harder for the real ones. Depending on your school and how much of the syllabus you have learnt, mocks are usually made up of past exam papers and questions. x

  3. Usually the mocks are past GCSE papers, and a lot of people argue that GCSE papers are getting harder each year.

    But if you were doing one of the new GCSE courses that started in 2006, the mocks would have been specimen papers sent from the exam boards. Some examiners from the boards told my year that they made the mocks harder. Probably so it would almost 'scare' people into thinking they need to revise much harder.

  4. They are past paper exams or a collection of past paper exams. However GCSE's change the questions evry year so it's probaly a case of what came up in the mocks you knew more about that the real ones. But yeah that is anoying!
