  1. yep. read the ingredients of whatever you buy though. i bought some home brand ones though and a week later my tank water stank and i read the ingredients and it was like... pork fat, wheat starch, chicken/lamb, ew. its not what fish are meant to eat.

  2. not all expensive brands are worth the money you should read the lable on its percentage and compare to other brands.  Some you bought it a high price due to high advertisements.

  3. ok when i started my aquarium we bought expensive fish foods recommended by the pet place. fish ate but some wouldnt touch it. then after a few brands we tried wilkos own brand tropical fish food, huge tub for £2.50, and they all love it and are flourishing. sometimes i think a brand is just a gimick tbh.

  4. yeah... read the ingredients. the cheap ones say 'fishmeal.... corn.....ric' etc, rele gross things. the expensive food on the other hand, mine has shrimp, salmon etc... its healthier and makes em more vibrantcolored=]

  5. i think a varied diet of different products and brands is good
