Are the new TTC buses run by hybrid?

the other day, I noticed the TTC buses said hybrid electric along the sides.

Yes the TTC has hybrid buses now. I think a lot of major cities are getting them. I know Baltimore does.

The answer is yes, they do! Although to contrary, from the post above, only very few busses actually have the GPS Feature attached with the Hybrid Electric Busses. I have only ridden this bus once too. I took the 85 Sheppard Eastbound going to the Toronto Zoo that time and I wasnt expecting the GPS System. But it was there....fully working.

Yup the new TTC buses that says "hybrid electric" on the top of them are hybrid electric buses which are a lot environmentally friendly. They're pretty much the same as the previously new buses except they run on electric I guess. Although they're new, they sadly don't have the GPS feature that announces every bus stop =(
