  1. Its amazing! You need to buy this car I love it!

  2. first to your question these are still very safe cars, and mechanically they are still solid cars that will last 300k plus miles [if maintained]

the electronic accessories have given some trouble [more than japanese stuff but less than everyone Else's]

opinion you have a 240 if it is rust and dent free, and you dumped 10k [us] into it.  it would essentially be a new car. with a v-40 at 3 times that figure you could keep the 240 for another 25-30 years, and be able to afford real-estate at the same time [in today's market NOW more than ever. LAND over durable goods DEEDS not titles] always remember  a good value never goes out of style

  3. They're not nearly as good since Ford bought them out as they used to be, but they're still good cars.

  4. new ones are the bomb

  5. Not as good as it use to be.  Reputations last a long time. Volvo still lives off its old rep.

  6. 940/960 / S90 / V90 the last of the quality rear wheel drive Volvos. Unfortunately Volvo eventually bought into the disposable front wheel drive idea like most everyone else.

The older 200 and 700 series are great too, my '86 760 is up to 460K miles so far and still going strong.
