need a lot of clubhead speed to spin them unless tou have 4 or less handicap and  a platinum visa dont waste your money go with nxts  you can play without scuffing the ball , these are a play until you lose ball good luck one third the price better performance

The Nike ones do spin more than anything else released to date....The question is can you control the amount of spin.  I know for myself  hitting a full wedge into a 130 yd par 3   I had better hit into the back fringe to kill some of the spin or I will be chipping back on from in front of the green.

According to Golf Magazine's ball test (Febuary 2008), the Nike One Platinum does indeed spin to most. To be exact, at a swing speed of 76 mph, with a sand wedge, it produces 13,451 rpm, 1537 rpm more than the Titleist Pro V1. With a driver swung at 105 mph, the Nike One Platinum had 3516 rpm of spin, while the Titleist Pro V1 had 2880 rpm of spin. The Nike One Platinum also flew close to 5 yards shorter. At a swing speed of 90 mph (average speed for golfers), the Nike One Platinum flew 10 yards shorter with the driver than the Pro V1.

Personally, I prefer the feel and spin of the Pro V1. I can't rally tell the difference in spin between the Nike One Platinum and the Pro V1. I think that the Pro V1 feels softer than the Nike One Platinum. I also don't hit it extremely far (245-260 yds with driver), so I need the extra distance.

If you are looking for spin, go for the Nike One Platinum. Science doesn't lie.

They spin as well as their competitors.  I have found they have comparable distance, if not greater, with the driver.  But will irons, I lost distance.
