Are the northern lights visible from Prince George, Canada?

Hey. i live in Prince George, located on BC, Canada

im new here, and ive always wanted to watch the northern lights with my own eyes. Can i see them from here?

They should be.  You can see them in Calgary every so often.  They need to be out that night and you need to be in a dark enough place.

Yes, but the trick is to catch them when they are happening.  Here are a few websites that you can check out daily if you would like.  They will tell you what the sunspot activity is or what the space weather activity is for that moment in time.  Also you can subscribe to e-mail alerts at the last link that sends you e-mails alerting you to the possibility of northern lights and other activities.
