Are the notes provided by IAS coaching institutes(RAUS, CHANAKYA..etc..) sufficient for the preperation?

I bought study material for general studies from one of a top coaching institute.. i wanna know is it sufficient for the preperation or i need to refer some books as well.. if its so.. wot books shall i refer to. plz help me out..

  1. Yes they are... provided you sincerely read and remember them thoroughly...

    In addition you have to keep updated by reading newspapers... and informative magazines... watching news... etc…

    Get updated on topics like Beijing Olympics 08... Political changes in Pakistan, Nepal etc... President’s elections in the USA... political crisis due to withdrawal by leftists from the ruling alliance… and economic stalemate in India... etc...
