Are the number of images at all relevant in this disturbing case?

They have to be looked at and counted to quantify the seriousness of his crime.

All child pornography pictures are graded. Some more serious than others.

They have to quantify and judge the severity of his actions so they have to count them and rate each one.

Honey, I'm sure they feel disgusted just like you - we all - do, but sickness is out there and must be punished! !   What I think is a shame is that by the time police find the sites showing these pix's . . .poof they are gone. . .can't be caught . . .so it keeps going on ! ! ! There is a lot of sicko's out there. . .be careful. . .

Not only for severity, but each child in those photos is a victim.  Rescue may be in the works for many if they can be identified.
