    The odds of winning on a scratcher ticket is better than the odds of getting hit by lightning.

    I had lightning hit 20 feet away from me and it was frightening.  Like a bright white bolt into the ground.

    Everyone knows the odds because you can total all the people who got hit by lightning and compare to all that won the lottery.  More people get hit.
