I'm American, which people seem to think automatically makes me a lard *** that does nothing.

  1. Italian-Argentinian

People assume I am cold, bitchy, lazy, and s*utty

    But I am not..

I am a very welcoming person if I get to know people, I am nice, though I had a short, hot temper, I am always active, doing something, and in the name of god, I am not s*utty. I have no clue why people set stereotypes, though, thanks to some people, I feel bad saying I was born in Argentina because people tend to put everybody in the same bag.

  2. Well im a white european. And no, im not french. Im tired of people assuming that france is the only country in europe.

Saying im from europe is usually enough when im outside europe. only in europe do they ask which country. In america when i say im from europe they look at me like im a freak because they all think im american. Im from bosnia & herzegovina, and knowing you you probably don't know where the h**l that is.

No i don't think all americans are lard buckets. Just some white trash/ghetto ones. Some americans are pretty decent and well off.

  3. Irish. Drinkers and jokers

But I've met many English drinkers and jokers over the years, and I've met many tee-total misarable Irish.

  4. hi! im indian and most people think we eat too much. thats not true. its just that the population is high so we consume more food. also people think we still dont know english properly.

  5. Mutant Earthling.

    A Mutant Earthling.

  6. I am Australian, and many people who meet me automatically think that I am an idiot, work on a farm, say G'day, and many people think I say bonza (meaning great) which hasn't been used for about 30 years.

    It's really annoying!

  7. Sure. The fact that I am Italian, the next thing you usually hear is

so is your family connected? Then they hear my maiden last name,

and then the same comments follow like, Now that has to be a pure

mafia family! When you say no, they say, 'oh sure, I know, you just

can't say, huh? or, you just won't say, right?

Then when they hear that I have an Uncle Guido, Angelo, Joey, Vito,

Paulie, etc. they immediately start talking like their idea of a mafioso.

So yes, I know many people assume they think they know Italians

and immediately brand or label them.

  8. I'm a white American Midwesterner (Nebraska, nonetheless), so people think I'm a down-home, traditional, conservative, bible-thumping, beef-and-potato-eating, naive, small-town gal who watches corn grow all day.

  9. When I say I'm from Wigan, they instantly assume I prowl around at night dressed in towelling leisurewear with a cleaver.

Also, when I say I'm a converted Muslim, they instantly assume I wear a burka, a hijab etc etc when I don't - I just liked the sound of the religion when a classmate recommended it to me.

  10. I'm form Guatemala and people  assume that  in my country we live in trees and we are savage tirbes like in the AMAZONS.

    .

  11. I'm british we are known to be beer monsters especially abroad too much alcohol then starting fights but i am pleased to say most of us are not like that its just a few who give us a bad name

  12. I'm from Ireland.  From what I've seen on yahoo, people seem to assume that we're all drunks who enjoy brawling.  Sure there are some people like that, but they exist everywhere.  People also seem to think that most Irish people have red or blonde hair and green eyes, when the exact opposite is true.
