  1. You are aware of Radcliffe-Brown's book on the Andaman Islanders, right?  If you've read it, you'll know that there was already plenty of outside influence almost a century ago.  Few places are totally isolated.  Even places where no 'white' people live may still be affected by Westernization.

  2. indeed these r the isolated places. sorry to hear tt scientists were killed.  there r still many other isolated islands not only in the underdeveloped world but also in the developed world like near scotland, ireland,  usa pacific coast, aust's coastline where  there r few pple living on it.

some of them r still cannibals as in PNG.  indian govt is not doing anything except maintaining a naval base there to ensure that the approaches to the indian sub-continent is not blocked by any other navies.  the pple r self-sustaining with their own produce.  no modern amenities.  so u r right least influenced by the happenings of the world.   and it will remain so as its too far in the ocean.  the andaman was swept by the tsunami in 2004 but probably the dead were only a handful.  nearby is diego garcia, leased  by the indian govt to the americans where they r using it to control the indian ocean
