  1. Are the same people who are upset that people are getting into Palin's family issues the same ones who said Clinton's issues were fair game? If so, is this not the apex of hypocrisy?

Seriously, GOP. You're the most morally bankrupt party of morality that this country has ever seen. Pack it up already. At least the Dem's never pretended to be the morality police. Honesty counts for something here.

  2. slick willy getting a bj in the oval office is fair game....palins pregnant daughter is not...

  3. Clinton got a bj from an adult. In a lot of states it is against the law to have s*x with a 17 year old,who may have been 16 at the time.

  4. No, they're just bored journalists.  I'm a Democrat, fairly liberal minded and I say leave Palin's family alone.  Her personal life and family affairs are none of anyone's business, just like Clinton's s*x-life isn't anyone's business.  Clinton screwed up when he lied about it.

Good try.  Sweeping generalizations are a nothing short of intellectual laziness.

  5. Sure, we really don't care about them, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

When it was Clinton, you guys impeached him. Now that it's on your side, you could care less. We are pointing out your hypocrisy.

  6. No.  But the same people who defended the invasion into the Clinton's private lives are now defending the privacy of the Palins.

    Oh irony.

  7. The Republicans are the only ones still harping on it.

So I don't know, did you defend Clinton?

  8. You Republicans play very rough.  You weren't concerned about defending Clinton's privacy but went after him to the point of impeachment. So don't even try it now because no one is listening to you hypocrites.

  9. Stupid, but Palin is showing her true colors. What a bunch of hypocrites, if this was a Dem you Reps would be all over that one. Who cares but not to smart for the daughter.

If you don't remember Clinton was impeached for his "family issues". So, stop using this as an excuse for your future lose.

  10. They're certainly not the Republican Family Values hypocrites who advocate abstinence-only education for teens and swear to us that it works.

  11. Same type of people anyways.

  12. Probably...

  13. that is a great point the media does not know what to do when it comes to women and politics, at any rate they should not bring family issues into the media especially when it involves children.

  14. yeah, i really don't think that any family issues should have any relevance to any election.  I don't see how it is any of our business.  If i don't vote for sarah palin and john mccain, its because i don't agree with their policies,  I don't care what anyones daughter, brother, father, preacher, mother, aunt, anyone does.

  15. Are the people that are saying that this is a 'private' Palin family matter the same ones that thought Bill Clinton's infidelity was a public one?   :)

The reality of this situation is:  The McCain campaign should have disclosed Bristol's pregnancy up front last Friday when they announced Sarah Palin's selection.  If they had done so then while it would have been a news item, it would never have been the media circus and scandalous revelation that it has become.  They screwed up and now they are crying that the media is being mean.  Sorry, but their own incompetence in handling the issue is the cause of all this.  If I was Bristol I would be pissed at Momma and McCain.

  16. Nope, the same people that were obsessed with slick willie having an affair with an intern are now claiming that when a so callled "family values" vp candidate's unwed teenage daughter gets knocked up it's "off limits".

    conservative "family values" inaction.

  17. Some of them.

  18. Of course they are.  Pardon the pun, but for Dems, "what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander."

  19. They are EXACTLY the same people.

  20. First off

We KNOW how YOU folks would react if Chelsea Clinton got pregnant

"its because her parents are immoral" would be the whine

We find it quite ironical that your party

talks about inexperience then wants to elect a mayor of 4900 and one time governor who doesn't even want to be part of USA !!!

talks about how immoral liberals are for allowing their daughters to get pregnant instead of teaching them ABSTINANCE ONLY

talks about liberal pork in the budget and wants a governor that got millions for her town of 4900

    and

especially how John (low life) McCain can tell unsavory Chelsea jokes while being taped and its way off limits to mention this pregnancy

  21. Are the people upset about the Palin family inquiry the same ones that attacked Clinton's family issues?  The answer to both questions is yes. The only difference is that it's the Republican party that is under attack. Plus how does this work anyway they wont let their kids learn about birthcontrol or get abortions... Hmmmmm

  22. Some did express that opinion.

What Clinton did was done on company time at tax payers expense.

Although the millions spent to go after Clinton over this was over the top, none the less this is totally different, because baby Trig and daughter Bristol are in a private setting and what went on- went on in their own private space.

For those of you who say "what IF Chelsea had gotten pregnant- well, if she had and kept it she would have been praised for choosing life for her baby. Even if she would have aborted, it would not have been unexpected, because her family is pro-choice.

  23. Yes!

  24. I defended Clinton and I'll defend Palin. It's none of our business.

But you can see why the people who defended Clinton would jump on this right? Because the right got all over Clinton's case. you know that old saying, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. The right has this coming.

Still though, it's none of our business

  25. I think attacking the candidate's personal family issues are wrong no matter what party you are from. The kids should be left alone. They didn't choose this life so leave them alone. They are the ones that are getting damaged. And it is also completely irrelevant to state issues. Why can't people look at the real issues and not stupid tabloid c**p. What is our country coming to?

  26. Probably not.  Clinton supporters aren't going out of their way to try to help Obama, and even if they were, are smart enough to stay away from this issue.  Were Hillary the candidate, I think she would publicly applaud Bristol's decision one time and then drop it.

For those who do mistakenly equate these, there was no intrusion into Bill's private life.  The issue was "perjury", not the subject matter of the perjured testimony.

  27. Why is everyone so interested in Palin's daughter ? Get a bloody life....bd

  28. Liberal hypocrisy.
