Are the power outlets different in other countries like Ukraine?

I'm going to Ukraine soon and I wanted to know if the power outlets are different so I can know if I need to find some type of different adapter or something.

Well, that depends on where you are travelling from, which you didn't say.

If you are travelling from the US or Canada, yes, they will be different.

Yes. For Ukraine, you need a European power plug adapter - assuming your electrical device will accept 220V.

If it is 110V only, then you need a power converter as well.

Both can be bought at Radio Shack. The plug adapters can be gotten at any computer or office supply store.

Yeah they do differ. In america it's 110 volts. While in Ukraine there are 220 volts. You will need a different plug thing which you can buy at any cellephone store.
