Are the power outlets in Canada the same as the ones in the USA?

i am traveling to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in a few days and i live in Portland, Maine, USA. i was wondering if the power outlets are the same or not? i need my ipod and need the power cord that goes to an american outlet, will it work in Canada??

Yes they are the same. We have the same outlet as well as voltage so you should be fine when you visit.

Of course ours is the same electrical outlet as in the US. We even have paved roads, too.
