Are the private parking lots at Gillette Stadium allowed to open earlier than the stadium lots?

I heard that the stadium lots open at 1PM for the Kenny Chesney show on 7/26, which starts at 4PM. I remember tailgating starting at 11AM just a couple years ago.

most local businesses around there on route 1 will allow you to tailgate still. try the Outlaw BBQ, they are close....

yes just a couple of years ago tailgating started at 11:30, but unfortunately because of too many idiots ruining it for the rest of us, Gillette stadium and the police decided to cut down on tailgating time. The only upside to this is that Kenny doesn't go on until almost 8:00 so if you are only going to see him you technically have more tailgating time. The official lineup will be (or should be) posted either today or tomorrow usually on Gillette's site or wklb.com.

i've just heard this very bad news as well....please someone who knows something thats gonna better the tailgate experience please fill us in!!!

Parking lots will open at 1:30pm. Please do not arrive before 1:30pm.

Local & State Police will be checking car occupants for tickets at the parking lot entrances. All fans must have a ticket to enter a parking lot.

Local & State Police will strictly monitor for underage drinking at this event both in the parking lots and in the venue. Violators will be arrested.

Fans walking from parking lot-to-parking lot will not be allowed to carry alcohol between lots. This will be strictly monitored by the local authorities.

The Town of Walpole has implemented new traffic restrictions. All fans are strongly encouraged to access Gillette Stadium via Route One - not through side streets in Foxboro or Walpole.
