Do you think the questions on here are a good indication of the general level of intelligence throughout the UK?

Mini allied question within a question - how many professionals - doctors, lawyers, psychologists etc, use Q/A?

There are people who do this. Sometimes I think they do that challenge that other person's thinking or to get their point across.

I don't know about the intelligence in the UK. I am sure there are alot of people who are intelligent in the UK. However, Yahoo Answers is a great place to relieve boredom, to find something funny, silly, to be serious and to be yourself.

I wonder how many of the people who post questions on here genuinely think they will get an informed intelligent answer?

I come here because a) it passes some time when I'm bored b) I find some of the silly questions and answers entertaining and c) I like to help out sometimes by giving an informed answer if I happen to know something about the topic.

I have a good general education, but I'm not a professional and any answers I give are from the POV of personal experience, or an interested amateur.

sometimes its bit of fun, sometimes people give really good advice.

stay online, its fun and you might learn something.
