Are the "Xcess Princess Ice skates" good?

i reccomend riedell skates and parabolic blades, they're sure to last longer and hold a better edge. go to www.riedell.com and see their reccomendations for boot and blades, its really helpful!

If you just want a pair of skates to skate in for fun once a month or so, those are fine.  

However, if you're planning on skating more or taking lessons, you'd be better off going to a pro shop or skate fitter and getting a Riedell, Jackson, Risport, or Graf.  These are reputable brands that will last longer & offer more ankle support than the one you linked to.
