  1. There are no "legit" scammers. Make money the honest way. Get a job and/or invest.


  2. Good rule of thumb:

    If anyone is reporting on scams but they are also offering to provide you a service for a fee, then they are probably also a scam.

    That said, some places do good work IMO, like RipOffReport and Consumerist.
