  1. Any dry cell battery is what you are looking for. And by the way, the Red top batteries are made for durability and are made to be in sport utility vehicles like jeeps. They can be banged around and it wont affect the battery much. that's what they are made for. What you want is the Yellow Top battery. This is also a deep cycle dry-cell battery and are most widely used for car audio. Most battery's can only be re-charged 75% of life after it dies, but a yellow top will re-charge 100%.

    Trust me, go with the Yellow Top. My Experience Prevails.


  2. no go with the red top. i know some one who works for a battery company i thought the blue was better just cause i had never seen it but the red is the best. then the yellow top then the blue top. but there is another brand called trojan and its right there with the red top optima battery's. but soundstream came out with their own batter/cap/cell it looks really cool and has enough power for a system. here a link for both the red top and soundstream battery.
