Are the resorts of Gstaad and Les Diablerets completely deserted at this time of year? I visit in 2 wks.?

I'm concermed that it's between seasons (we're there 29 Oct - 4 Nov) and we won't be able to do anything! I heard the glacier was open for snowboarding all year round.

Of course there are not too many people, but you'll find always some snowboarders to party.
