Are the rides at Dollywood any good?

Yes, the rides at Dollywood are good, but there are only so many that are worth going on. If you go left, when you immediately go into the park and take the small path, that is the best path and way to go on just because many of the best rides are that way. Just note that everyone in Dollywood are old. There are no teens working attractions only old timers and mid-life people. The rides that are good are the roller coasters and the water rides, everytime else is not worth getting on. Good luck and have an awesoem time, dude.

I love Dollywood.  We have gotten season passes for the past 3 yrs (didn't get em this year hubby in the military and will be leaving very soon :(.  Anyway thunderhead is a great wooden roller coaster.  My husband loved mystery mine (I'm still a little afraid to even try it lol).  They have a new water like ride this year I hear is great fun and gets you soaked.  Timber towers is also a must ride.

edited to add I do disagree with the other poster some of the other rides are just as fun.  In the county fair section they have a few that are enjoyable one is like a skydiver (something to that name not sure exactly) line moves slow and is usually long, but is worth riding.  Also there is right across from it a small lift ride that goes up and down again fun.  And the dizzy disc same area.  Also blazing fury which is some consider an indoor roller coaster it fun (its not in county fair area it more near Tennessee tornado).
