Are the rides still opened during Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion?

I booked a vacation there on the weekend of sept 26 and I just noticed it will be Halloween Haunt.So will they still have the rides available like regular days.I know the waterpark will be closed.

All the major rides will be open. It changes form season to season, but they do usually have one or two of the small rides shut down to make way for the Halloween attractions. Like I said the ride closings will be minimal. Nothing to stress about.

I havent been in a few years at Halloween haunt time, but if i remember correctly, I think one ride had to be shut down to make room for the Hallowwen attaction that was set up there, but it was a minor ride anyway and no one seemed to care because the haunt attraction was way cooler anyway. As for the rest, yes they are open and running all the time.

IMO Kings Doninion has the best Halloween stuff around . Def worth the trip.   (Not for little kids or heart patients-lol)

  If you have small children, i HIGHLY reccomend changing to a Busch gardens vacation. they have alot of cool stuff for grownups, but are more kid friendly as well

You should be fine.  I hope you did not plan on bringing young children though because once it gets dark the park is really scary.  In the morning and afternoons though its family friendly.  Almost all of the rides are still runing there are a few that close but none of the manger ones.  THe whole kids section closes at like 3:00 so that they can have all the staff witht eh haunted stuff.  You should have a great time though.  Kings dominion is awsome.  I use to get passess every year.  I hope you enjoy yourself.
