Are the russian teachers strict?

help this year well be my first in high school and they r saying that they ll get a new math teacher for us and she is from russia well she be strict plz help

Teachers from Russia are like teachers from any country. Some are strict, some are lenient. There is no way of knowing what your new teacher will be like until you are in her class. Do your best and be polite. It really doesn't matter whether the teacher is strict or not if you are doing your best.
