  1. The Giants are out of the Playoffs this year.

Impossible for them to make it at any way.

Better luck next year San Fran.

  2. They are not even close this season!

  3. somewhat, they are all the way on the bottom, so yeah

  4. well, they're pretty close, they just have to go 28-5 and have the brewers go 7-26 and they will make it to the playoffs :D

  5. No, not even close. I guess you must think the brewers are in the basement because I think you have the two mixed up,sorry brewers are in the wildcard.

  6. Another genius question from a total idiot.

  7. The Giants trail the Brewers by 17.5 for the Wild Card. There is no way they will make it unless all teams ahead of them just fall apart and they some how go on a hot streak.

  8. While they are not yet mathematically eliminated (they are 17.5 games behind with 32 games still remaining) the chances are highly unlikely.

BaseballProspectus.com runs a simulation of the remaining games of the season (the simulation is done 1 million times) and the results for the Giants are that they will win the Wild Card 0.00000% of the time and the division 0.07476% of the time.

  9. only if Wild Card is the name of a California club.

(ummm, as bad as they have played, they may not even be welcomed there).

So to answer your question, no they are not

  10. no

  11. Way better chance of winning their division than the Wild card, and at this point in the season even that's a near impossibility with how far they're back.

  12. No, it's mathematically impossible.

  13. No, if they do make the Wild Card this year though I will give you $1,000.  But I feel safe that won't happen.
