Are the staberlizer front links on my peugeot giving me a rough ride.and would it be safe to remove them

I don't race around corners and just wondered if it would give me a smoother ride,

  1. Perfectly safe, so long as you don't drive the car anywhere after you have removed them.


  2. More likely your shock-absorber insert (dampers) are past their prime.

    Replace only in pairs!

  3. renew them , you can't remove them as the front would collapse over the first small hump .

  4. Does the word 'stabiliser' not ring any bells with you? ie. to keep stable

  5. Any interference with suspension as you suggest would invalidate your insurance and MOT and be very likely to land you in deep sh*t with the boys in blue. You need to get some professional advice. I would start with a Peugeot dealership. They will look at the car and discuss options. More importantly they will know what they are talking about. Which (with respect) you do not.
