are there the same celebrities in the washington dc and new york wax museums??

They tend to mix and rotate their celebrities. Some will be the same (Brad & Angelina are very popular and are at all the Tussauds right now) but some like Cameron Diaz they kind of swap around. Sometimes there are the same celebs but in different outfits (like Johnny Depp is in regular dress at some, but at another he's in his Pirates costume). At each Madame Tussauds they do try to have some models that are unique to that location, so they aren't exactly the same. The DC one has more political/historical figures, for example, which is appropriate to the city.
