We are made to think that we are making our decisions but "something" is choosing for us.

  1. I no longer feel that way and it hurts. Not only is there a loneliness that goes along with pulling our own strings, but also a feeling of stupidity for thinking you were part of a "plan" that never really existed.

  2. It might feel that way in the most abstract of sense. After all that is how the CIVILAZATIONS and SOCIETIES are constructed.

  3. That's not true. We have free will to do whatever we want to. What is true is that you can be influenced immensely by the environment you live in, like your family, the media, your friends, etc.

  4. The closer your able to perceive the eternal now....the more control you have and the inspiration to perceive what is divinity....from a psychological point of view...the search for the divine is actually the search for the inner real you...filled with spirit of the divine.

  5. What "strings of life"? You make your own decisions for yourself. Everything happens because you made the choices, one way or another. That's how God made it... :)

  6. Yes, WE are moving those strings, we are part of that invisible force.

Usually, "Doing God's work" is seen in a religious point of view.  It doesn't have to be religious, spiritual yes, but not religious.  We are doing God's work, our actions change the future, and that's the way it is intended to be.  We are part of God.

(God meaning Reality, Universe, Karma, 'The Force', whatever you want to call it, same thing, I call it God as my preference.)

(I don't believe in any of the Gods in any religion, even less the Christian and Catholic God)

  7. God has a plan for our lives. You have choices though

  8. "The Astrology of the Four Horsemen:  How You Can Heal Yourself," Elizabeth Clare Prophet, is excellent.

"Man, Master of His Destiny" and "The Zodiac, Key to Man and to the Universe," O. M. Aivanhov, also.

  9. no i believe we can change our destiny and more

  10. There is no free lunch. Even if great cosmic forces didn't exert to make us possible, or not, even if nature didn't drive our needs, even if cultural mores didn't color our identity, even if you can outwit quantum decision making, even if you had some mystical thing called free will, it would still be HOSTAGE to all of these forces conscious and subconscious. If you have free will under duress, it is only the illusion or the pantomiming of free will, not actual freedom.

I didn't decide to make water viable on earth in so many useful forms. That is a HUGE invisible string tying us to some intentional force.

  11. I don't ever feel that "something" is choosing, leading or pulling me in my decisions.   Perhaps you believe this so strongly, it has become a self-fulfilling prophesy.  We are each responsible for all our choices - period.

  12. Yes, but awareness of such, allows us the oppurtunity to climb those very strings... and influence such forces for ourselves and the benefit of others...

  13. I believe certain circumstances are beyond our control, but the final outcome of any given situation is the result of our own free will.

  14. Life is a purely deterministic process brought about by chaotic interactions of particles. Causality determines that all things have a source origin, but there is no requirement on this cause having a predictive intelligence.

  15. No. To the degree that we can & do exercise free will, our life is NOT moved by invisible forces. However, we do not have total freedom of choice, due to our genes (inheritance), our personality, and our prior acts that may narrow down the number of choices that are actually available to us.

  16. No I don't believe that at all, we may be influenced by our subconscious but we are still making the decisions.

  17. I have no clue what you are talking about. Specifics, please.

  18. well, the darkness of the dawm of strong forces, is connected with equalitivity, is not confected with the marbilism of lights, thorughout your SOUL...

ps..dont go to the darkside OR THEY WILL GET YOU!!

  19. Not always, it is more emotions you are feeling.

Not necessarily the force of another can move you, but it can move your feelings, your emotions, your well-being. We are connected in many ways. Sometimes the connection gets broken, sometimes the connection gets missed, and sometimes, time and space wrinkles, and people get connected. Sometimes its a soulmate. We are making our own decisions, based on our feelings, and sometimes facts. But others can make us feel. We can feel them. That invisible force, almost 5th dimensiony, doesn't happen often.

No, there never are any strings attached.

Not when it's meant to be, not matter what other circumstances are present.

  20. Yes. The strings are the daily decisions we make. Some are large, most are tiny and not verbalized. The decisions are determined by our beliefs and create responses from the envoronment when we think or speak them and when we tale actions based on them.
