Are the tips of dogs tails tender?

I touched both my dogs tail tips, and they look at it get sqwirm a little. why?

you need to hand le the feet a lot to get them used to it.  give some random rewards as you ahndle the feet.... so they associate with good stuff.

It's not necessarily that sensitive, it's like any other body part, it has bones, nerves and muscle. However, since that's the body part that dog's use to express their emotions, they might be a little sensitive about their tails being touched, this goes for almost any animal, horses, cats, cows, they all just don't like having their tails touched that much.
