  1. That was a good one! ^ __ ^

  2. A visa is issued by a government and permits you to enter a country and do certain things within it.

A Visa card is a debit or credit card. Visa Inc. is a private business and has nothing to do with any country's government. They picked the name because "visa" is a word most people understand regardless of what language they speak, and it suggests that it's accepted everywhere, like a government-issued travel visa to a country.

You should read those two articles for more details on the differences:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_Inc.

  3. VISAs have been issued by governments for a couple of hundred YEARS... VISA.. the company was NAMED after the government issued visa program.... they are not even close to being related or the same thing

  4. The Visa credit card is not related in any way to visas which allow non-citizens to visit or live in a country.

It used to be called BankAmericard, as a matter of fact.

  5. LOL  no

  6. Um. no! one is from the govt the other is from a bank.

  7. NO

    One is money

    One lets you travel

  8. I don't know if you are serious....the 2 things are very different.  Visa credit card it just the name of a credit card company and has nothing to do with a temporary or residential visa issued by the government for non-us citizens
