Are the usb cables all the same for camcorders no matter what the brand is?

i was supposed to get a usb in my box but it didn't come and need to know where else to get one.

usb cables differ in end plugs. that's it. see what size of usb cable plug is on your computer and camcorder. You can get usb in most electronic and computer stores like circuit city and best buy.

yes they all do the same thing, but if you are transfering alot of videos get a firewire [its shaped differently so make sure you have the right connection] its faster and will work for sure

so no matter is the brand/ model.

unless the socket/connector is different
