  1. Unfortunately they are not, I have witnessed underage drinking in St Thomas in fact all of the Virgin Islands. They will card the kids that have a school uniforms on but the older looking kids get a pass even if they are under age.)

  2. Its "Virgin Islands" means Islands of the Virgins. So if you never drink before (you were a drink virgin) and you drink the very first time, they will let you go for the first offence. If you are underage and you drink, then "Its not what you know but who you know" law applies. In easy language underage drinking is prohibited under law but "good laws are made to be broken".

  3. I dont know how it is in St. Thomas but Tortola I got drinks and im only 17. Once its dark and you look old enough trust me, you'll get it. They really want your money, lol.

  4. No there not, when I was there I even asked the bartender what the drinking age was and she said "who cares, what do you want" haha...so there super relaxed down there about the drinking age, however some higher traffic tourist areas may be more strict

  5. Not really.  Depends a bit on where you go.  I don't think you'll have much of a problem, if you do, just go somewhere else.  You'll pretty easily find a place.

  6. For the most part, yes.  The legal drinking age here is 18 and if anyone is caught serving alcohol to a minor they could lose their liquor license.  I've seen a lot of kids get under the radar though.  There a some places where the party is so wild the bartenders have to rely on the fact that security carded the patrons beforehand.
